I have counseled employers on federal, state, and local employment laws, including personnel policies and practices, wage and hour, leaves of absence and accommodations, reductions in force, risk management, internal investigations, litigation avoidance, and worker trainings and compliance.

Employment Litigation

I have defended employers in wage and hour class actions and Private Attorneys General Act (PAGA) lawsuits, in cases alleging employment discrimination, harassment, and retaliation, and in administrative actions before the California Civil Rights Department, California Labor Commissioner’s Office, and the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission.

Commercial Litigatioin

I have significant experience representing clients in complex civil litigation in both the trial courts and on appeal. I have represented clients in complex business disputes involving breach of contract and fraud.
